I consider this an...OOC Karin. Done purposely though.

And couldn't help but think about the 'what ifs' of her character. What if she wasn't simply created for comedic relief and didn't have a shallow fangirl personality? ((Nothing against canon Karin though, she's funny as hell.)

But still...What if she was more serious? Didn't give two craps about Sasuke's looks and focused more on the situation at hand? What if she had more depth to her personality? What if her hair was black? (LOL, sorry.)

What if Kishimoto actually took the girls in his own manga more seriously? (<-- million dollar question)

Meh, this is just me...visually letting out my thoughts, lol.

(Although if she were more like this, she'd probably be the first girl I'd willingly ship with Sasuke.

What an opportunity missed.

Woulda been hot though.)

Black-haired Karin is SO much better than red-head Karin, in my opinion ^^ I'd love it if she had more depth to her character, so SasuSaku fans can accept her and be more friendly towards NaruSaku :3

Seriously though, I do love Karin as she is, and truth be told, I like Karin -> Sasuke just fine as it is. i.e., one-sided. X'D

I find Karin -> Sasuke to be hilarious! The amount of cluelessness he displays around her is just XD. I mean, when she tried to hit on him the first time and he didn't get why she suddenly changed her mind about going with them, my reaction was: "Are you Serious? XD" And after they found Juugo, he Still didn't get it! Hahah. Sasuke must have skipped on the sex-ed!

When I first saw this I thought, "Sexy-no-Jutsu Sasuke?", especially with the title, "What If?"

I dunno, that's just how it clicked in my head. But I felt silly when I noticed the glasses and knew then that it was Karin.

Hmm, I wonder what Karin would be like if her character wasn't so shallow. But I totally agree with you, if she was different I would ship her with Sasuke too.

Lol, and I always forget that her hair isn't black. It looks better black, but that's not up to me. *shrugs*

Oh, and Great Job!
